so now what?
for the last seven years, the epstein files have been the center of topic in politics, pop culture, and of course meme cringe culture. as more and more people become connected online, and more and more unsolicited opinions are shared I think there comes a point where we lose urgency or even care of what things are anymore. I say all of this because with the release of the files, there is a huge demand for the entire contents of the files to be released. now, to be perfectly clear, i absolutely loath everyone and everything involved in this and i truly hope that the victims are able to receive justice. but it made me think about what we, those not involved in this, gain from all of this. as the files continue to be released, names continue to be redacted. and so for what reason do we want to see these files? we get the entirety of them, and then what? what do we gain from it?
